Job Description:

Hoxton Circle recently partnered with a produce company in the local Santa Cruz County area. The role will be placed contract to permanently, medical benefits and sick pay available through Hoxton Circle during the temporary contract phase. The duties are as follows:Typical duties include:--- Analyzing new and existing product lines, promotion spending and service segment costs of the organization.--- Assisting with mergers and acquisitions with senior management.--- Preparing profit and loss models, balance sheets and other management reports, using Microsoft Excel to forecast financial outcomes--- Maintaining confidential financial information--- Performing budgeting variance and forecasting analysis for/with various levels of management.--- Analyze financial data and provide forecasting support.--- Prepare reports and projections based on financial data.--- Recommend individual and collections of investments, also known as portfolios.--- Evaluate current and previous financial data.--- Study business and economic trends.--- Determine a companys value by examining its financial statements.Skills and Qualifications:--- Strong understanding of how economic trends, political situations, policies and regulations may affect their clients investments.--- BA degree in Accounting or Finance required, MBA preferred.--- Financial reporting and expense analysis, and journal posting experience required.--- Thorough understanding of GAAP--- 5-6 years experience in working with Financial statements and forecasting required.--- Computer skills to effectively use software to analyze financial information, identify trends, establish portfolios and make forecasts--- Decision-making skills to provide recommendations to sell, hold or buy a security--- Attention to detail when reviewing potential investments, as small issues may lead to large complications for the overall health of an investment--- Math skills for estimating financial valuesHoxton Circle is an equal opportunity employer.
