Located in Northern California, the team at Joby Aviation is driven
by our goal of creating an affordable, all-electric air
transportation system. Imagine a piloted air taxi that takes off
vertically, then quietly carries you and your fellow passengers
over the congested city streets below, enabling you to spend more
time with the people and places that matter most. Since 2009, our
team has worked steadily to make this dream a reality. We've
designed and tested many generations of prototype aircraft capable
of serving in a network of electric air taxis. We're looking for
talented, committed individuals to join our team as we push onwards
toward certifying the Joby aircraft with the Federal Aviation
Administration, scaling our manufacturing, and preparing to launch
commercial service in 2025.
Overview:
Working as a Microsoft Power Platform Developer in our Santa Cruz
location, you will be responsible for the coordination efforts
surrounding the development, design, implementation, deployment and
training activities for Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
solutions. Using your knowledge of application and report
development in a structured workspace, you will work with our
design, engineering, manufacturing, finance, logistics, and quality
teams to oversee the requirements gathering, discovery, development
and deployment of continuous improvement projects enhancements.
Responsibilities:
Develop custom functionality, reports and dashboards that will
support, integrate with, and report from our enterprise business
applicationsBuild cohesive relationships with certification,
engineering, manufacturing and business teams to build long-term
strategies that align design of the application with long term
needsCollaborate with process owners and subject matter experts to
develop requirements and use cases for desired application
functionalityUnderstand capabilities and identify risks and
opportunities of deploying new functionalityProvide level 3
support, create and conduct instructor lead application
trainingCreate and review desktop process instructions for
supported application functionalityWork with support personnel to
establish and maintain continued functionality of application
interfacesTroubleshoot data integrity issues as neededDrive
continuous improvement initiativesWork projects through to
completion with the possibility of rapidly shifting
prioritiesAbility to work on many projects in parallel
Required:
B.S. in relevant discipline, or equivalent experience3+ years of
working experience with the development of Microsoft Power
PlatformsExceptional knowledge and working experience with the
Power Automation, Power BI, Power Apps, and SharePointWorking
experience with Microsoft SQLProject management skills with a track
record of applying program and change management principles,
practices and techniquesExcellent verbal and written communication
skillsWell developed interpersonal skillsDetail orientedAbility to
think creatively to solve complex problemsAdvanced knowledge and
use of Microsoft Office products*****Althought remote the ideal
candidate for this position would be expected to work during
Pacific time zone to ensure they are able to interact with other
members of the team and to participate calls and departmental
meetings.**

supply chain and manufacturing operational process flows within
Dynamics 365 for Finance and OperationsExperience mapping data
elements between applicationsExperience with FAA requirements and
AS9100Experience with Web Services and REST API'sCompensation at
Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units
(RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $72,400-$120,500.
The compensation package will be determined by job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.Joby also offers a comprehensive
