Dignity Health Advanced Imaging, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, provides cutting-edge diagnostic imaging services at 16 locations in the greater Sacramento and Woodland areas.  Our team of 160 staff members work with our specialty trained and board certified radiologists to provide high quality care to our patients.  The locations perform more than 175,000 exams annually with the goal of providing top quality imaging, compassionate care, and timely service with a smile.


Responsibilities

The Orthopaedic Technologist is a Para medically trained member of the Orthopaedic staff who works well with all health care professionals in delivering patient care and assumes all assigned responsibilities concerning both surgical and non-surgical procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum

  • NBCOT - National Board of Certification for Orthopaedics Certification or ASOP - American Society of Orthopedic Professionals certification is required.

  • Two years full time work experience in Orthopedic clinic or office, working in direct Orthopedic patient care.

  • Ability to articulate descriptions of orthopedic conditions based on understanding anatomical structures and their relationship with one another.

  • General knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, fracture healing and complications and wound care.
