Poly is seeking a Director of Global Financial Reporting on the
and strong corporate leader to report directly to the Chief
Accounting Officer as Director of External Reporting. This position
you will have direct management of approximately 12 accounting
professionals in the US, Singapore and the Netherlands and
oversight of the external auditors. The ideal person will enjoy a
global leadership role while simultaneously taking on a contributor
role on quarterly deliverables.
Through the acquisition of Polycom, Plantronics doubled in size
and complexity and became Poly. Our focus now is to support the

a market leader in communication end points but to also introduce
game-changing software and communication productivity tools.
Already a dynamic industry, the landscape is rapidly changing as a
result of COVID-19 and we have established this dedicated role to
partner with global leaders around the Company to ensure our
external reporting remains complete, accurate and relevant.
The successful candidate will be able to engage all levels of
the organization and approach challenges in a collaborative and
pragmatic way. The candidate will need to establish him/herself as
a subject matter expert who can discuss technical theory as well as
apply it in simple business context. The role requires deep
technical expertise in the area of US GAAP and SEC reporting
requirements as well as interdependencies with local statutory
requirements. This role must have previous Big 4 experience on
large, multi-national accounts.
Drive global financial reporting risk assessment and evaluate
adequacy of disclosure controls.
Monitor GAAP and SEC developments and lead the adoption of new
accounting and disclosure rules.
Oversee our independent auditors for the Form 10-K and quarterly
financial statements on Form 10-Q.
Coordinate global auditing and reporting efforts and drive
efficiencies across entities.
Lead the production and review of all external financial
reporting and related regulatory filings, including financial
statements, related schedules, and notes to financial

the Company and provide assurance at Audit Committee meetings, as

reporting and US GAAP accounting standards

business terms and apply them in a practical way
