Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for an ambitious Systems Engineer
to become a member of the Systems Design and Integration Team.
As a Systems Design Integration Lead, you will:
--- Work with Systems Design Integration management and other
Systems Engineering groups to effectively build and lead a talented
and motivated team of engineers spanning electrical, digital,
mechanical, optical, and other areas of Systems Design
--- Be at the forefront of solving difficult design integration
challenges on a large, fast-paced, and exciting program.
--- Utilize the latest model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools
to push the envelope in digital integration of design, interfaces,
CONOPS, and requirements.
--- Establish system architecture and CONOPS, perform Electrical
Power and Signals sub-system requirements analysis, requirements
flow-down and decomposition, and requirements verification planning
--- Perform system analysis and electrical interface definition by
effectively utilizing standard Electrical Engineering tools (SPICE
modeling, Excel macro programming, MATLAB, Python, MS
--- Participate in design reviews, lead technical working group
discussions and provide technical oversight of subcontracted and
in-house developed hardware.
--- Lead studies and system trades for enhanced capabilities
including network-based communications, power distribution and
transient analysis, and flight avionics.
--- Work with RapidIO, Serial RapidIO, Fibre Channel, SpaceWire and
XAUI electrical interfaces in a lab environment as part of
developing plans to on-ramp new mission capabilities while
protecting the primary mission.

experience in system design involving electronics hardware design
and integration that use embedded code, high-speed data
communication, and software systems.
--- Required Prior to Start - Active, Final Top Secret security
clearance or above with the ability to maintain clearance
--- Knowledge and application of Systems Engineering processes and
Systems Integration functions including:
a) System trade studies and/or System modeling
b) Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD)
c) System Integration, Test and/or Verification
d) Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the
e) Design reviews experience
--- Basic circuit analysis (evaluation of circuit impedance,
capacitance, and inductance characteristics).
--- TS/SCI w/ Poly with the ability to maintain clearance
--- Familiarity with electrical power/signals industry standards
--- Experience with Space segment design and vehicle integration
including multiple sub-systems (Electrical, Mechanical, etc.)
involving LM, vendor, and customer-provided equipment.
--- Familiarity with standard Electrical Engineering tools (SPICE
modeling, Excel macro programming, MATLAB, Python, MS
--- Familiarity with and interest in network-based communications,
power distribution and transient analysis, and flight avionics.
--- Experience working with RapidIO, Serial RapidIO, Fibre Channel,
SpaceWire and XAUI electrical interfaces in a lab environment.
--- Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically
formulate solutions for execution on an inflexible schedule, or
requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete
--- Experience ensuring the physical and functional compatibility
of hardware/software products throughout the full lifecycle of the
--- Ability to interact with hardware and software developers to
ensure mission requirements are satisfied
--- Demonstrated ability to get results from teams without direct
