Job Description:
AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery (DRS) is a disaster recovery
service provided by AWS that enables organizations to minimize
downtime and data loss with fast, reliable recovery of on-premises
and cloud-based applications. DRS uses cost-effective AWS resources
to maintain an up-to-date copy of source servers on AWS, allowing
for point-in-time recovery and failback to the primary site after
an issue is resolved. We are looking for passionate software
developers to join out team and help to solve a challenging set of
problems in a space packed full of opportunities. In this role, you
will participate in the full life cycle of AWS services including
requirements definition, software design, implementation and
ownership of the product. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic
with working on mission critical applications that operate at
scale. They will also be passionate about technology and working
with the best software developers in the world to innovate and
provide our customers an unparalleled experience. Key job
responsibilities As a key member of the engineering team, you will
have significant influence on our product strategy. Your role will
involve helping define product features, refining system
architecture, and spearheading best practices that enable a quality
product. You'll be instrumental in designing and implementing
solutions that meet high availability, performance, and security
requirements while setting the foundation for the next phase of our
product and beyond. Your commitment to teamwork and strong
communication skills will be crucial as you interact with both
business and technical partners. Creating a reliable, scalable, and
high-performance service requires exceptional technical expertise,
a sound understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, and
practical experience building large-scale distributed systems.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working on complex system
software, is customer-centric, and feels strongly about building
good software as well as making that software achieve its
operational goals. You should also maintain a forward-looking
attitude, staying aware of the latest technology trends. In this
role, you'll actively participate in product definition, technical
architecture review, iterative development, and code review. You'll
develop automation testing to verify functionality as part of our
CI/CD pipeline and provide technical leadership in the design and
implementation of scalable and robust solutions. Operational
excellence is key, so you'll also participate in on-call rotations
and incident response. We value continuous improvement and
technical excellence. As such, you'll have the opportunity to
mentor team members on technologies and best practices. Your verbal
and written communication skills will be essential as you
collaborate with the team and stakeholders. - 3 years of
non-internship professional software development experience - 2
years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns,
reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - 1
years of software development engineer or related occupational
experience - 1 years of designing and developing large-scale,
multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software
applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or
Perl experience - 1 years of Object Oriented Design experience -
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science,
Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field - Experience
programming with at least one software programming language - 3
years of full software development life cycle, including coding
standards, code reviews, source control management, build
processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
