Engineer with a specialization in Android development. At Walmart,
you will lead Android development projects that enhance the
shopping experience for millions of our customers worldwide. You
will drive the design and execution of innovative mobile solutions,
ensuring robust, secure, and scalable applications while mentoring
a team of talented engineers. This role is critical in our ongoing
efforts to exceed customer expectations and further solidify our
position at the forefront of the retail industry. Design and build
advanced applications for the Android platform while ensuring
responsiveness and quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams
to define, design, and ship new features. Manage the entire
software development life cycle from concept to deployment to
post-deployment support. Mentor junior engineers, conducting code
reviews and providing guidance. Maintain code quality,
organization, and automatization. Stay up-to-date with new
technology trends and evaluate the potential for technology
advancements. Expertise in Kotlin and Java Proficient with Android
SDK and Android Studio Strong understanding of the full mobile
development life cycle Experience with offline storage, threading,
and performance tuning Ability to design applications around
natural user interfaces Knowledge of the open-source Android
ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks Medical
