Job Description:

The Technology and Information Management Program, under the Baskin School of Engineering at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC), invites applications for an ongoing pool of lecturers who may be appointed to teach engineering courses in technology management. Current topics within technology management include, but are not limited to, all areas of the management of technology, including knowledge management, information retrieval (or data mining), artificial intelligence and machine learning as applied to management, artificial intelligence in finance, information technology systems design, operations research, entrepreneurship, services engineering, marketing and sales of information technology, product management, and product development.
Outstanding candidates with experience to teach courses in one or more of the above areas are encouraged to apply. The campus is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their teaching and other assigned duties. Appointments are temporary positions with end dates and generally made one quarter at a time, based on the changing curricular needs of the department.
Internal candidates will be given priority consideration.
