Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Location: San Francisco, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,783 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 22 Weeks Start Date: 2/24/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Duration: 22 weeks Shift: Day and Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a high-acuity PICU in a tertiary-level and teaching hospital preferred. License: Current California RN License required. Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required. CCRN certification preferred. Must-Have: - Conscious Sedation - Intracranial Pressure Monitoring - Telemetry Monitoring - Ventilator Management - Central Line Care Description: This position requires a registered nurse experienced in pediatric critical care. The role involves caring for critically ill infants, children, and adolescents with a variety of complex conditions. Responsibilities include managing high-acuity patients who may require advanced treatments. Candidates should have knowledge in a variety of critical care procedures, including continuous renal replacement therapy and post-operative care for bone marrow transplant patients. The unit is fast-paced and demands strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. Attention to detail, critical thinking, and effective communication are essential for success in this role. All candidates must confirm their COVID-19 vaccination and booster status prior to start.
