Speech Language Pathologist Location: Novato, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,035 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Home Health Speech-Language Pathologist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Speech-Language Pathology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred License: State SLP License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: FEES*, LSVT*, Vital Stim* Description: A Home Health Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide home therapeutic treatment and education to patients and their families. The therapist develops and implements individualized treatment plans for various communication and swallowing disorders. Patient evaluations and assessments are conducted in accordance with Speech Pathology Standards of Practice. The therapist develops and updates the patient’s Plan of Care (POC) and provides treatment according to established standards. All documentation related to therapy must be accurately completed per established standards. Effective coordination with other care providers and support team members is essential for efficient patient care. The therapist ensures compliance with departmental and organizational requirements. Supervision of assistants and students may be required. In addition to therapy, general clerical tasks may include answering phones and updating patient appointments. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment is a priority, and all equipment should be used according to manufacturer guidelines. The therapist is committed to confidentiality and compliance with regulations pertaining to patient information. Continuing education requirements must be met to retain certification and licensure. Knowledge and skills related to various speech and swallowing disorders, assessment tools, and patient education are essential for this role.
