Job Description Medical Assistant needed for a full-time, 3-4
month contract opportunity with Yoh’s well-known medical center
client located in Santa Cruz, CA. Potential for extension.
Primarily back office responsibilities. Great opportunity for those

Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Top Skills You Should
Possess: Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma Registered or
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) highly preferred
Professional, dedicated, friendly, and helpful employee Flexible
and adaptable to float to various specialties where needed, within
the medical center (ie Adult & Family Medicine, OB/GYN, Peds, etc.)
What You’ll Be Doing: Room patients Vitals and injections Provide
medical testing such as EKGs, blood glucose, blood pressure,
cholesterol, vision and hearing screening Immunizations Set up for
procedures Disinfect rooms and dismiss patients Maintain employee
health records (using EPIC) What You Need to Bring to the Table:
BLS/CPR certified 2 Step TB (PPD) - one within the last 2 years and
1 within the past 90 days Proof of immunization/titer records for:
MMR and Varicella Current Flu Shot Yearly physical Strong
