qualified CVICU RN in Santa Cruz, California, 95065! Pay
Information $2,835 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular
Intensive Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hours Nights Hours per
Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years License: Yes
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, COVID Vaccine Required Must-Have:
Recent proficiency in immediate post-operative cardiac surgery
recovery. IABP, CRRT, ECMO experience preferred but not required.
Description: Candidate will take a proctored CVICU exam and
interview with the manager via Zoom prior to offer. Type of
specialty is CVICU within a mixed medical-surgical unit. Unit
capacity is 16 beds. The average number of providers in the unit is
one cardiothoracic surgeon and one CTS PA. The average number of
patients per day includes one cardiac surgery patient and twelve
additional general med-surg ICU patients. Common diagnoses and
types of patients include mitral, aortic, and tricuspid valve
replacements, CABG, and AAA repair. Floating is required, and the
candidate will be the first to float. The candidate will float to
other areas as needed. Scrub color/dress code is navy blue scrubs.
The candidate is required to work every other weekend and holidays.
