Essential DutiesClinical ServicesProvides contraceptive methods:contraceptives that are self-administered (no procedure required);Provides/oversees contraceptive injections.Provides emergency contraceptionPerforms medical assessment and management of basic STI and genito-urinary conditions for all patientsPerforms wart TreatmentProvides gender affirming careProvides premenopausal and menopausal servicesGeneral DutiesReviews & interprets the medical and social history for all sexual and reproductive health patientsPerforms appropriate medical screening procedures/exams for all sexual and reproductive health patientsInterprets laboratory data, orders additional laboratory investigations when indicated and ensures appropriate follow-upActs as a clinical resource to health center staff and ensures high quality clinical care is provided to all patientsManages emergency situations in the health centerParticipates in staff meetings Contributes to achieving health center productivity and quality standardsDemonstrates PPMM customer service standardsAssists in other areas of center support work as requiredPrecepts students/residentsWorks with/supervises volunteers/interns as applicablePerforms other duties as assigned QualificationsAbility to perform the duties described above. A typical means of acquiring those abilities would be:Graduation from an accredited FNP or Primary Care PA program for comprehensive primary care centers; graduation from an accredited Women’s Health NP or CNM program is acceptable for limited primary care centers.Current State license;Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification. RequirementsWillingness and ability to learn new skills appropriate to PPMM clinical dutiesStrong customer service orientationAvailable to cover at least one evening clinic per week and one Saturday clinic per month, as needed by centerCurrent experience using computer and mouseExperience using a Microsoft Windows based program and willing to learn new computer skillsAble to work cooperatively as a member of a health care delivery team Pay: $74 an hourFloat Differentials: For any clinician who travels to other health centers to support patient care. Additional $3/hr for local ( 30 miles)Bilingual Increment: Increase of $1/hr if eligible.Sign-on bonus!
