Job Title: Surgical Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: OR Tech / Surgical Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 15:30 Experience: Minimum 2 Years Required, Experience in All Ortho Procedures License: Valid License Required Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: Ability to take call one night shift per week and on weekends Description: Prefers local candidates. Working days will be 5x8 hours, but one to two shifts per week will require a PM schedule starting at 15:00. One night shift call is required per week. On-call duty will be every 2nd or 3rd Saturday or Sunday for 24 hours. A 30-minute response time is required for on-call duty. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend on-call will require three shifts per schedule. Travelers must be willing to float between facilities. Travelers must also be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. RTO must be included at the time of submission. References: A minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting is required. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. Communication devices will be provided if required for duty. Housing options should be explored in the area as they may be limited.
