• A welcoming cultureJob DetailsJob Details:We are currently seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join our team. This is a permanent position, offering the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where patient care is paramount. The successful candidate will have a passion for oral health and a commitment to providing top-notch patient care. With an emphasis on dental hygiene, oral health education, periodontal treatment, patient care, dental charting, and oral hygiene instruction, the Dental Hygienist will play a vital role in our team.Responsibilities:1. Conduct initial patient screenings: Assess oral health conditions, review patient health history, oral cancer screening, and head and neck inspection.2. Perform dental prophylaxis: Teeth cleaning, applying preventive materials to the teeth (sealants and fluorides), and providing periodontal treatment.3. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene: Develop and implement individualized dental care plans for patients, perform oral hygiene instruction to improve and maintain oral health.4. Document patient care and treatment plans: Maintain accurate and timely patient records, including dental charting and treatment plans.5. Collaborate with the dental team: Work closely with dentists and assist in select procedures, provide important information about patient oral health, and contribute to the overall functionality of the clinic.6. Adhere to regulations and safety procedures: Ensure compliance with all dental office, local, state, and federal regulations and protocols, including the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and the American Dental Association (ADA).Qualifications:1. Associate degree or higher in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.2. Current state license to practice Dental Hygiene (RDH).3. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist.4. Proficient in dental charting and use of dental software.5. Excellent knowledge of dental hygiene, oral health education, periodontal treatment, patient care, dental charting, and oral hygiene instruction.6. Exceptional communication and patient care skills.7. Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment.8. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.9. Current CPR certification.10. Ability to comply with all safety procedures and regulations.11.
