Job Description We are looking for a passionate and energetic
software engineering manager to join our team in Intel's
Programmable Solutions Group (PSG). Intel PSG is the pioneer of
programmable logic solutions, enabling system and semiconductor
companies to rapidly and cost effectively innovate, differentiate,
and win in their markets. Intel PSG combines the programmable logic
technology with software tools, intellectual property, and customer
support to provide high-value programmable solutions to many
customers worldwide.In this role, you will be responsible but not
limited to:
- Leading the team that delivers the software models and
Application Programming Interface (APIs) for our next generation of
FPGAs.
- Definition and execution of device model database roadmap in
conjunction with hardware development team and client-side software
stakeholders.
- Build and manage a global team of software development
engineers responsible for creating tools, flows, methodologies, and
automation used by both internal and external teams.
- Technical, hands-on contributions from architecture stage
through to development and validation.
- Provide architectural and technical guidance and ensure that
sound and creative engineering practices are followed.
- Set priorities for the team, achieve results across boundaries,
ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage
performance.The ideal candidate will have the following attributes

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates.Minimum Requirements:The
candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering,
Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.6+ years
of industry work experience in the following areas:
- Data structures and graph algorithms.
- Designing, developing, and validating clean object-oriented
API's.
- Software development with C++, Java, or Python.Preferred
Qualifications:Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer
Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of
experience or PhD's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer
Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of
experience in the minimum requirements.2+ years of experience in
the following areas:
- People manager.
- Industry-standard digital design intent formats, including
Verilog, VHDL, LEF/DEF.
- Version control systems like Perforce, CVS, or Git in a
Unix/Linux environment.
- Electronic Design Automation databases, such as OpenAccess or
Milkyway.
- FPGA architecture and tools. Inside this Business Group The

California: $156,590.00-$234,830.00
Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location
and experience Working Model This role will be eligible for our
hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time
between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate
business needs.
