Job Description:

Minimum Qualifications M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Interest in teaching introductory and/or lower-division computer science courses The ability to work full-time on the Stockton Campus starting in January 2025. Preferred Qualifications Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Experience teaching computer programming. Ability to contribute to upper-division undergraduate courses and graduate courses in the MS Computer Science program. Awareness, aptitude, and commitment to contribute towards Pacific’s mission to provide a superior, student-centered learning experience Experience and/or awareness towards Pacific’s goals surrounding diversity, equity, and inclusion. Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
