Job Description:

Will architect, design, and implement the new generation of a real-time

mobile geo-analytic tool called Truecall. Will be a part of an innovative

team to develop and maintain high-performance applications and packet

processing software to support and expand the company’s continuous

leadership in application and network performance management products and

solutions. Will perform peer reviews of both designs and code

implementations to improve product robustness and maintainability. Will

collaborate with sibling team that develops companion product Geosoft RAN.

Will provide detailed documentation for designs and implementations to ease

training and knowledge transfer. Will track and troubleshoot product

issues to improve usability, performance, and accuracy. Will collaborate

with the Quality Engineering and Customer Support teams to deliver customer

satisfaction.

Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical

Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education

equivalent) plus 1 year of experience developing and debugging software

applications on a multi-core Linux environment. Or, alternatively, a

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering

(willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and 3 years of experience

in developing and debugging software applications on a multi-core Linux

environment. Also requires: (1) Demonstrated expertise (DE) analyzing

datasets and processing high-volume data records to calculate complex Key

Performance Indicators (KPIs); (2) DE developing and optimizing data

structures and algorithms to generate and maintain server code; (3) DE

designing and developing distributed and multi-threaded applications on

high-reliability servers; and, (4) DE leveraging performance analysis and

debugging tools (GDB or Eclipse), and understanding of “sar,” “perf,” and

“htop” output on the Linux operating system.
